8 Hours, I hear you say?
Many of the smaller MRO 145 operations are the lifeblood of our Industry and the general aviation community at large. These 145 operations are often required to perform tests on Aircraft parked outside of a busy and invariably full hanger or at the end of a runway.
The external Lithium Ion Battery supplied as standard on the ARTS 7000 Avionics Radio Test System enables users to fully test the Aircraft Avionic Systems almost anywhere, anytime and will enable you to do so for up to 8 hours.
This is impressive by any standard and enables users to cover the test needs of Aircraft parked externally or for AOG remote operations conducted where required. (Laversab Air Data Testers also provide the option for an externally mounted battery that enables the same remote testing for Pitot and Static systems.)
This standard feature of the ARTS 7000 became crucially important for conducting a Demonstration & Training visit to one of Laversab’s highly valued “Dual System” customers in Europe, Aerofab Restorations, Thruxton, UK.
The team at Aerofab were most welcoming and fully embraced the ARTS and ADTS Training Laversab provided.
We thank Ben and the highly regarded Team at Aerofab; they have been supporters of Laversab Products for a couple of years, initially with a 6200 ADTS and subsequently with our ARTS 7000 Navcom and Pulse Combination.
As an Authorised Sales and Service Centre for Garmin, having access to the two test systems is crucial. With Laversab products, they are able to fully cover the avionics and air data spectrum of testing as required by a dynamic 145 organisation.
