Laversab Oilfield Systems specializes in the design and manufacture of computers for rugged and hazardous oilfield locations. Their Model 2850 Rig Floor computer has been specifically designed and certified for Class 1, Division-2 / Zone-2 areas.
It features a high speed Intel Atom processor and uses a solid-state drive for storage, allowing it to withstand severe vibration. Its15” sunlight-readable LCD with auto-dimming, and a low reflection touch-screen, provides a clear and crisp human interface.

Connections for ethernet, long range 900MHz wireless, dual USB ports and serial interface are available for I/O requirements. An Intrinsically Safe (IS) keyboard can be provided if required. The Model 2850 C1D2/ Zone 2 computer is designed to operate on 90-260 VAC or 9-36 VDC power. Environmentally, it can operate from -40°C to +50°C, is impervious to salt-fog, is sealed to IP-65 standards and can withstand vibration of 3G RMS. The small footprint and light weight make the Model 2850 ideal for use on the rig floor or for vehicle-mounted applications.
